Social networking seems to have taken over our lives! Almost everyone is on Facebook and Twitter. But is this a good thing?
Some advantages and disadvantages that social networking bring to my life is that i can keep intouch with friends from highschool and friends from other states. Disadvantages are my family that i do not talk to trying to contact me when i want nothing to do with them. In todays society social networking can be a positive and a negative thing, people these days dont know who they may be talking to, like pretators. Social networking can get many people introuble but then again is can be great because you can express your feelings and wat maybe going on in your life. Businesses these days bare using social networks as a benefit to get people to loike their such as American Eagle, you can go on there website and like there clothing. it helps boost sales. Social networking in the next two to three years i believe is going to sky rocket only because so many people are involved now adays for so many things.
I hear ya on not wanting some people to see what your up to. I kind of have that same situation. I don't want certian people looking at my facebook either. They may have some security settings, but it's definitly not the best. People can hack into a facebook easily. It is convenient to look up a companies product online. I have good views and bad one too. The good is that you get to see things you want, and with just a few clicks you can have it delivered right to your door. The bad is that the companies you sometimes buy from, they could be a hoax. Or whoever that now has your infomation and uses it until you have no more money. In about three years social networking will sky rocket, but wouldn't identity theif be higher also? What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI agree facebook and twitter are good to keep up with your old friends, but it's also a headache when you have people inboxing you who you don't want to speak too. Also facebook has cause a lot of problems when it comes to nosey people wanting drama and going back gossiping about what your doing. I always keep all my settings on private so anyone who I'm not friends with can't go on my page just to be nosey. But I like when certain stores I shop in such as charlotte ruse post there sales and upcoming events on social networks such as twitter it makes it easier then going on there website to find out.
